  • How do I register on Traders Test?

    Registering on Traders Test is easy. Simply click ‘Log In/Register’ in the top right corner and then enter your email address in the relevant field to initiate the registration process. An email will be sent to the address you provided. Please click this link to activate your account and to set a password.

  • I didn’t receive a confirmation email after registering. What do I do?

    If you didn’t receive a confirmation email, please check your spam or junk folder as it may have been caught by your email provider’s spam filters. Please note that it may sometimes take up to 24 hours to arrive. It’s possible that you may have made a typo when entering your email address, so if you don’t receive a confirmation email after 24 hours, please try to create a new account again or, alternatively, click ‘Resend confirmation link’ which can be found in your account settings.

  • I forgot my password. What do I do?

    If you forgot your password, simply navigate to the login page and click ‘Forgot your password?’ Please follow the on-screen instructions to reset your password.

  • How can I change my email address/password?

    You can change your email address and password in your Account Settings.

  • How can I delete my account?

    To permanently delete your account, please navigate to your Account Settings. Click ‘Delete Account’ to initiate the account deletion process. Please follow the on-screen instructions to confirm your request. Please note that deleting your account is irreversible and all data (test results, etc) associated with your account will be permanently lost.

  • How do I complete the tests?

    Our Trader Personality Test and Trader Motivators Test feature several sets of statements which you need to rank in the order they apply to you the most. Simply drag and drop each statement to the appropriate position – for example, a statement placed in the top position would mean it is very relevant to you while the statement placed in the bottom position indicates it is not as relevant to you as are the other statements.

    Our Pattern Recognition Test features 20 groups or series of shapes, and your task is to identify the missing shape which correctly completes the sequence from a selection of alternatives.

    Our Technical Analysis Test features 30 questions with multi-choice answers. Your task is to select the correct answer based on the accompanying facts, figures and statistical tables.

    Please note that our Pattern Recognition and Technical Analysis tests are timed.

  • Can I retake a test?

    Yes, but please note that you are only able to retake a test a maximum of 3 times.

  • I submitted an incomplete test. Does it matter?

    Yes. It is extremely important that you submit a test that has been completed in its entirety in order to receive the most accurate results.

  • I’m colour-blind. Will this affect my results?

    Our Pattern Recognition Test features sequences of shapes of varying colours. While every endeavour was made to ensure that these colours were easily distinguishable to all Traders Test users, some users may find completing the test difficult and may, therefore, receive inaccurate results.

  • Where can I view my results?

    You can view your test results in real-time as you complete each test. You can also view your results by navigating to your Profile in the top right corner.
